CT ALERT!!! It's that time again... Your Appreciation Kit!

Even though the Cottage is history now, I still want to honour all our Cottage Creatives' hard work that they so generously gave for the few months we were online. Here are the Creatives who will receive the Fabulous!! CT Appreciation Kit, for which I was a participating designer:

Joanne (JobaScraps)
Jean Ann
Jennifer
(jennifer18)
Sue (ozsue)
Donna (Jessicasma)
Cassidy (Cadacee)
Carolyn (KayC)
Tracy (Sillyscrapper)
Charlene (ciocichar)
Jan Merkley

For their super contribution to the Cottage site, I want to add two more names to this list; these ladies were to become CT members, but then... life happened. The kit will also go to the following "Honorary Cottage Creatives":

Keryn (Kessa)
Suruha (Su)

Congratulations, Ladies! I will be in touch with you when the time arrives!!!!
Meanwhile, Bee Happy!

Starting work leaves little time

Spring has definitely come to the Maritimes, and we are selling plants at the Garden Centre! I'm in the Perennial section this year, so I'm having fun ooing and awing the lovely baby perennials coming in from the greenhouses in the back of the retail nursery. I'm going around with visions of garden beds in my head. My own, for a change. In my past life, I was a garden designer/plant scientist, so it seems that the role has been given to me again... and I enjoy it.

This little visit to my blog is overdue and I apologise for that. Thank you to all who've left me lovely comments and written to me, telling me they miss me at the site and in the forums, etc. I miss you all, too.

I might as well give you the rest of the story while I'm here, dear friends. Here are the rest of the Asperge Delight Papers and the Elements as well.

Asperge Delight Papers 2
Asperge Delight Papers 3
Asperge Delight Papers 4

Asperge Delight Elements 3
Asperge Delight Elements 4

In addition, here is a little gift for you from my last kit, Mysteria, see preview above. I cannot say when I'll be able to come back and post you some freebies, much less when I can fill the 'orders' some of you have given me in response to my call for suggestions, but ... you never know! It may be next week or next month, not sure. Thank you for all your suggestions, and I'll endeavour to fulfill your requests, but please be patient with me. :)

Last of April Showers

Before the month is over, I want to give you the last of April Showers, # 4, to complete your kit.

DOWNLOAD # 4 HERE

I have started working at a retail nursery this week and so I won't be as present on the net as I would like to be. However, I do want to give you all the rest of Asperge Delight, so come back soon for that.

Wishing you all a pretty Spring and, if you are in Australia, a productive Autumn.
Big hugs all around!

Chocolate, anyone?

Dear Friends ~
When Cottage Scrapbooks was still online, I had eight different challenges I created bonuses for every month. The above previews show four, and there are four more, of the April posting bonus collection. If you want them, here they are, all yours. I figure the Spring fever has hit me (I'm sick with a bug - bleeckk) and I might as well console myself by giving you all the posting bonuses. They're not doing anything sitting on my hard drive, and besides, you can do something with them - maybe use them for all your Easter and Spring photos. I hope you like chocolate, eggs, bunnies and little birdies!

Download # 1 - Admire the Flowers

Download # 2 - Chosen One Challenge

Download # 3 - Chronicle of Days

Download # 4 - Scrap This Season

Download # 5 - Heritage Challenge

Download # 6 - Hybrid Challenge

Download # 7 - Impromptu Challenge ('Kessa' won the "I Make You A Kit" Prize - Congratulations, Keryn! :) )

Download # 8 - Verse To Page

That's it for today's freebies. I hope you like them... Each zipped file contains 3 papers and 3 elements for your scrapping pleasure.
I'll be giving you the rest of Asperge Delight and April Showers soon. And then?

Why don't you tell me what you'd like me to create for you? I've sort of hit a blank wall as far as creating kits is concerned right now, so if you want some goodies, tell me what it is you'd like me to make for you.

Theme, colours, special elements, whatever pops into your head. Let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Until next time!
Don't eat too much chocolate! lol

Hope you like it and stay tuned - I'll be back soon with more goodies for you!

Part 2 of April Showers is here

Sorry I'm late with this, but as my previous posts attest to, I've had a bit of a rough time this past week. Oh, and HAPPY EASTER everyone who celebrates it... and HAPPY PASSOVER to those of you who celebrate that event.

YOUR SECOND PART OF APRIL SHOWERS is right HERE!

Have fun ~ It sure fits the mold for this month in many parts of the world. Here in New Brunswick, though, we woke up to a thick blanket of the white stuff, as you can see in my photo of Piroune, my sister's cat, looking out towards our new home parked in the driveway. She was not a happy cat this morning!

We all had a delicious meal of turkey and yummy turnips, but not the cat - she doesn't like turnips. Then the snow didn't seem too bad. Lots of birdies came to the feeder and kept us entertained. All in all, a great Easter day in New Brunswick, despite the white stuff.

Isn't Springtime fun?

Free Kit Asperge Delight for you today

I've decided to give you all the complete kit, Asperge Delight, right here...one bit at a time, as the month goes by. I have already uploaded the first part of this kit, but I am giving it to you again here as before I used to send you to the Cottage. From now on, you can download it direct from here. For those of you who do not have the papers to go with the Element Pack, I will be posting it soon. :)

DOWNLOAD PART 1 HERE

DOWNLOAD PART 2 HERE

I promised you this kit so I am giving it to you here. The site Cottage Scrapbooks, unfortunately, will no longer exist from now on. Due to circumstances beyond our control ~ and we did try real hard ~ we were unable to save the site after a bandwidth upgrade turned into a nightmare and we had to abort, deleting all the files we'd accumulated from almost a year ago.

I will continue to post digital kits and freebies here, as I know some of you follow my blog faithfully. I want to thank you for your loyalty. In this very sad time for me, it's nice to know that I have friends who care and who support me all the way. Thank you for that, dear friend.

Until next time ~

The Cottage Scrapbooks site/forum

Hi Dear Blog Friends ~

I'm sorry to have to announce that there will no longer be a Cottage Scrapbooks. We upgraded our account last week and instead of extending our bandwidth, as we thought would happen, something went drastically wrong and they had to delete the files. There is absolutely nothing we can do. Yes, we could try to build it all back up again, from scratch. Sad to say, we have neither the courage, time or money to do that. My dh and I are starting full time jobs soon and making a fresh start with our very first home, so we are just too stretched out to even consider such an undertaking. I am truly sorry to all the Cottage designers and creatives and members who had so whole-heartedly made the Cottage their home.

We want to thank everyone who have expressed their sympathy and offered their help in re-building the site. Your love and concern are really appreciated. We have decided to leave things as they are. We each have our own blog and I will continue designing on a small scale, giving you occasional freebies and fun kits. :)

Again, Thank You for your support! Contact me at the address below my name if you wish to enquire about my kits or if you have an order that you weren't able to fully download before the site crashed. Please tell us the number of your order.

Some Freebies for you! and Mysteria is Here!

Stellarific Creations presents MYSTERIA!

Hi Loyal Blog Visitors!

My new kit is out, it's the Mysteria Kit! I created Mysteria as a posting bonus for my Cottage Challenges but I loved the theme so much that I've added a lot more than in the original 7-parts offered in the Meeting Place. Here are the previews, element details and the papers, too.
I am not offering this kit in any store, only here on my blog! To get this very affordable, complete- over 150MB - kit for only $2.75, simply send me that amount via PayPal to the email address below my name at the end of this post.

This beautiful, mystery-themed kit has 20 papers and 52 elements ~ at only $2.75 (regular price!), this is a great bargain. I'm totally concerned about giving my friends bargains like this so we can all help each other in these troubling economic times. This kit will give you hours and hours of scrapping pleasure, I'm sure. Here is the paper pack preview:

As soon as I am informed of your purchase, I will send you the zipped files. Easy as that! Don't forget to grab the freebie I have for you today ~ and all of this month --- April Showers!

I've never offered this as a freebie all-in-one-kit before. There is some shadow on the pink umbrella, but no shadows on anything else. :)

Here is PART 1 OF APRIL SHOWERS

Come back next week for Part 2! I thought this kit was so appropriate for all the rain we've been getting here in Atlantic Canada. For all of you in the drought regions, and especially my friends in Australia, please grab this kit as a positive spellcaster to help you all get rain soon! (I sure wish it could work that way. ;) )

Cheers until next time!
